Story
The Drive is a complex feature that focuses on male emotion from the main character and the revealed complication of a loving yet troubling relationship. With our two characters, Rose and Dean, viewers are able to see heartbreak, passion, regret, hope, and emptiness. While on the drive, enjoy the rollercoaster of emotions.
Through the collaboration of three visionary creators, this film prevailed with much planning, editing, and intensive production methods. Our mutual interest in media allowed us to connect through film by portraying an emotional feature that displays so many battling, complex emotions.
As his backseat driver, Rose is driving Dean's mind crazy. Before the scenes that are shown, the couple got into an argument that ended with Dean killing her. This film is the aftermath of a climax that leads to another climax.
Regretting what he just did, he hallucinates the events that occur during the drive and his interactions with Rose. She remains her calm loving self and doesn't blame him for the things that have happened to her. However, it's his thoughts hence his manipulation towards himself. With his emotions overwhelming him, his emotions take over, leading him to end his life as well by walking onto the road.
